Everything else carries risk. ECO’s impact-rated doors weigh ninety to one hundred forty pounds per panel. Removing one without proper support bends the track or shatters the glass. The multipoint lock interfaces with the keepers at three points; if the new gearbox is not shimmed to the correct backset, the bolts miss the keepers and the door appears locked when it is not.
